Privacy Policy

Citizen Dossier (citizendossier.com) and its browser extension, the Citizen Dossier Connector, let Star Citizen players build a public "citizen dossier" banner and profile from their Roberts Space Industries (RSI) account. This page explains exactly what we read, what we keep and who can see it.

The Citizen Dossier Connector extension

The extension works only when you ask it to, from citizendossier.com. It uses the RSI account you are already signed in to in your browser. It never sees or stores your RSI password.

What it reads, and only when you click a button on citizendossier.com:

What it never reads: your password, email address, payment or billing details, store credit, pledge values or prices, or any other part of your RSI account.

The extension sends what it reads only to citizendossier.com. It does not run on, read or send anything to any other website, and contains no analytics or tracking.

Your Citizen Dossier account

What is public

Your public profile at citizendossier.com/<your RSI handle> shows your banner and, if you choose, your fleet. You control what appears in Profile settings: ship descriptions and insurance are hidden unless you switch them on, and you can hide the fleet entirely. Your banner image can be linked to from forums or shared to Facebook. Your email address is never shown.

What we don't do

Where it's stored

The site runs on Fly.io servers in the United States, in a database on an encrypted disk. Pictures of ships are loaded directly from RSI's own image servers.
